The FBTVERTUS CLA406A two-way bi-amplified speaker system incorporates a 4 x 6.5“ custom woofer with 1.5” voice coil and a 1 x 1.4” B&C HF neodymium driver with 2.5 voice coil.

The internal Class D amplifier module constructed from die-cast aluminum provides 600 W for LF, 300 W for HF and the DSP processor with 8 equalization presets provides unexpected dynamics in a system of this size.

The FBT VERTUS CLA406A must meet the following performance criteria: frequency response of 65Hz to 20kHz, maximum SPL of 133dB, horizontal coverage angle of 100°, vertical coverage angle of 25°.

The FBT VERTUS CLA 406A has a 0.47” birch plywood with internal metal reinforcement and the front part must be protected by a resistant metal grille.

The control panel provides level control, HF level, preset, HP filter, Gnd lift, 3 status LEDs (on, peak, prt/limit), XLR input and connection, and Neutrik Powercon Duplex cable for power.

New hardware allows two or more CLA406.2A/CLA206A to be coupled at an angle of 0°-20° in 5° steps from the vertical, and additional accessories are available for suspending the system; four side inserts (two upper and two lower) designed to accept quick-release pins or M10 screws.

It can be integrated elegantly and with minimal intrusion into any environment; it is ideal for live applications, assisted by the CLA118SA sub, as well as for fixed installations.
