The heart of the MYRA 214L linear array element includes two uniquely designed neodymium coaxial compression drivers that combine a 4-inch voice coil for the midrange and a 2.5-inch voice coil for the high frequencies in a 1.4-inch throat, developed in cooperation with B&C and covering the 400 Hz to 20 kHz range.

The combined output of the compression drivers is carried by a proprietary short-path, very wide-bandwidth waveguide that ensures low distortion and a controlled 90° horizontal broadband directivity.
