The MUSE 218SND is a direct-radiating floorstanding subwoofer featuring two 460mm B&C long-excursion drivers with 100mm voice coil and 4000W Class D amplification, rated at 148.5 dB SPL. The bass-reflex enclosure delivers substantial power down to 30Hz and is ideal for extending and reinforcing the low frequencies of the MUSE 210LND line array in ground-stack configuration.

It has presets to create various configurations with cardioid directivity, where some subwoofers are facing the back of the audience to acoustically cancel the sound pressure behind the cluster, achieving a reduction in SPL at the back of more than 15 dB.

The enclosure, optimized with BEM-type acoustic simulations to reduce resonance and duct turbulence, is constructed from 18mm birch plywood with six handles and scratch-resistant paint. Front mesh reinforced with protective fabric and provision for four optional 4'' (100mm) swivel-mount castors on the rear panel.
